Of Egypt and the Sower

Today's daily reading is Genesis 46-48; Matthew 13:1-30. You can read it HERE.

Jacob and family go into Egypt. They find favor in Pharaoh's eyes, and dwell in the land of Goshen with their cattle.

In Matthew, we see the parable of the sower. Many folks I know are being 'choked' with the cares of this world, and thus are unable to grow spiritually. Where do you think you are today?

Tonight is Worship Team practice at Crossroads. A highlight of my week!!! Will post my thoughts about that later!

  1. Unbelieveable rehearsal last night! We worked on Revelation Song, which is probably one of my favorite worship songs of all time.

It risks being overplayed on Christian radio, but my goodness it just has such an attitude of worship and words of praise.

Our worship team at Crossroads is really coming together nicely. We want to glorify God with an attitude of worship and songs of praise, and part of that is the reverence we are able to give to the musical gift God has given to us. Aah, that will be a post all its own in time to come!
